Today over 20 thousand workers are involved in the global construction

VLADIVOSTOK, May 13, vladivostoktimes.com Every day the number of workers on APEC Summit objects’ construction increases by 450 people. Mostly they are workers from Russia and Primorye, as the Primorsky Territory Vice-Governor Vladimir BALAN reported to RIA PrimaMedia.

Number of people who work on APEC Summit objects increases at least by 450 people every day. Today over 20 thousand people are involved in the global construction. It was only 14 thousand people a month ago.

“We have only 3 thousand foreign workers including 1,2 thousand foreigners and around 2 thousand workers from countries of Commonwealth of Independent States. The contractors are mostly Primorye companies (60%), the rest of them are from other regions of Russia. All contractors are chosen by contests according to the federal law №94. Installation and construction works on APEC Summit objects are under the Governor’s control” said the Vice-Governor.
