They plan to erect the theater building in the area of the end of the bridge over the Golden Horn Bay

VLADIVOSTOK, January 13, vladivostoktimes.com Construction of theater of opera and ballet in Vladivostok will start in February. The Territory Governor Sergey DARKIN reported it during the business meeting on project of APEC Summit-2012 objects, as the Primorsky Territory Administration press service reported to RIA PrimaMedia.

They plan to erect the theater building in the area of the end of the bridge over the Golden Horn Bay at Fastovskaya Street. 

We would remind you that the project of Vladivostok Theater of opera and ballet is based on the project of opera theater in Koyan City, South Korea. According to experts, this is one of the most up-to-date theaters in the world.

During the business meeting they noted that a lot of leading experts were involved into development of project documentation. They will install the most modern audio and light equipment allowing to stage the most difficult performances.

We would remind you that theater of opera and ballet in Vladivostok will be erected in the frameworks of preparation for APEC Summit-2012. The city which is now the outpost of Russian culture in the Asian-Pacific region needs this theater.

The theater will have two comfort halls – for 300 and 1500 seats. Underground parking and restaurant are planned too.
