Vladimir PUTIN ordered to create the recreation zone for the Far East residents

VLADIVOSTOK, October 20, vladivostoktimes.com The development of recreation zone for the Primorye residents is on the list of additional orders concerning hosting of the APEC Summit that were given by Vladimir PUTIN, the RF Prime Minister, during his visit to Vladivostok. Sergey DARKIN, the Governor of the Primorsky Territory, informed about it at the press conference; the correspondent of RIA PrimaMedia reports.

According to the Governor, the experts started developing of the large-scale project that links together the hotels, children’s amusement parks and wildlife safari-parks where the visitors can observe the animals.

“The global recreation zone for all residents of the Russian Far East is to be provided on the Russkiy Island,” Sergey DARKIN notes. “Besides, the film studio may be set up there,” he says.

The Opera and Ballet House, Medical Center and the Far Eastern Federal University with Medicine Department also will be built on the Russkiy Island.
