VLADIVOSTOK, October 18, vladivostoktimes.com Both pylons of the Golden Horn Bay Bridge are to be concreted in 8 months. The concreting of abutment №8 near the 37 Moor and the twin pylon - abutment №9 that is located in Churkin Cape runs according to the schedule.
As the press service of the Primorsky Territory Administration reported to RIA PrimaMedia, the pylons’ height is 226 meters that is nearly three times over the Primorsky Territory Administration building. It takes 15 thousand cubic meters of concrete to construct one pylon.
The bridge over the Golden Horn Bay is to be put into operation by 2011. It is a section of the route the delegations of countries that participate in the APEC Summit in 2012 will follow to the place of Forum in Vladivostok.
We should remind you that construction of this APEC project started on the initiative of Sergey DARKIN, the Primorsky Territory Governor in 2008. The Bridge over the Golden Horn Bay is to link the Vladivostok downtown with Goldobin Peninsula and clear the way to the Russkiy Island across the Strait of Bosporus the East by the one more bridge.
