Igor Shuvalov Holds Work Meetings on APEC Summit 2012 in Vladivostok

Participants of the work meeting will report about the course of fulfillment of orders given by Medvedev and Putin

VLADIVOSTOK, August 26, vladivostoktimes.com The first vice-Chairman of the RF Government Igor SHUVALOV will hold several meetings, dedicated to construction of objects APEC Summit 2012, today in Vladivostok. During the work meeting Igor SHUVALOV, the Primorsky Territory Governor Sergey DARKIN and Vladivostok Mayor Igor PUSHKARYOV, and also Heads of enterprises taking part in construction of Summit objects will discuss a number of questions.

As the press-service of the Vladivostok Administration reported to RIA PrimaMedia, the meeting “On approaches to forming interbudgetary relations for 2010-2012 under the conditions of optimization of the federal budget expenditures” was taking place.

Besides, the participants of the work meeting will report about the course of fulfillment of orders given by the RF President and Prime Minister on construction of APEC Summit objects and will discuss opportunities of creation of the special economic zone of tourist and recreational type on Russkiy Island.

“Nowadays billions of federal funds are directed to development of Russkiy Island, Vladivostok Mayor Igor PUSHKARYOV commented. Infrastructure including new roads and a bridge, gas pipeline, objects of energy supply, hotel complex, which will later become the federal university, and many other objects will be built. After Summit all objects and invested funds will work efficiently for the good of people. That is why it is necessary to plan future development of Russkiy Island.”

After holding the work meetings Igor SHUVALOV will visit places of constriction of purification plants of the Central planning district, bridge passages across Golden Horn Bay and Strait Eastern Bosphorus, cargo terminal on Pospelov Cape, Far-Eastern Federal University and others.
