However there are some terms construction materials should be certified according to Russian standards

VLADIVOSTOK, June 2, vladivostoktimes.com Representatives of the Japanese Corporation ROTOBO, who have come to Vladivostok, are interested, why foreign companies do not take part in construction of two most important Summit objects – bridges across the Golden Horn Bay and to Russkiy island, although some of them have made applications, the correspondent of RIA PrimaMedia reports.

The vice-Director General of the JSC "Pacific Bridge Building Company" Victor SKLYAROV, representing the project, being implemented by the company, in the Primorsky Territory Administration, noted that Japanese and South-Korean companies indeed had taken part in tender for construction of the bridge across the Golden Horn Bay, however they had withdrawn from consideration unexpectedly.

There undoubtedly will be a demand in foreign construction materials while building infrastructure objects of APEC Summit-2012. The Pacific Bridge Building Company has already made a contract with a Japanese company, who will deliver to Vladivostok special net for vertical decorating of a tunnel in the district of funicular. Relations with the company, delivering mechanical means for placing this net material, are on the negotiations stage.

But in general foreigners do not hurry to invest means in Summit objects, negotiations do not usually finish by determining specific amounts. Russians are really puzzled why it happens so.

- We invite everybody to take part in so scale for Primorye projects, Victor SKLYAROV noted. But there is one important term: if in the framework of cooperation construction materials are delivered, they should be certified according to Russian standards.
