Sergey DARKIN also visited the place, where the theatre of opera and ballet will be built
VLADIVOSTOK, March 4, vladivostoktimes.com The Governor of Primorsky Territory visited construction sites, where the Golden Horn Bay bridge is being constructed. Also on Tuesday, March 3, Sergey DARKIN examined the place, where the theatre of opera and ballet will be built, which is also in the list of objects planned for APEC Summit 2012, as the correspondent of RIA PrimaMedia reported.
According to the Governor, the construction is carried out in compliance with the project. Now the number of questions about the minimization of the construction cost is being solved. It is important to do it; otherwise the quality of the construction can suffer.
During the trip the Governor visited construction sites on the Churkin cape (Pervomayskiy district) and the 37th moorage. These places will be connected by the Golden Horn Bay bridge.
‘There is far less work on the Churkin Cape, than in downtown,’ Sergey DARKIN said, ‘but the work is being carried out faster. And in general the construction of all 12 bridge pillars is being carried out already. Everywhere the foundation is almost built and the bridge will “grow” very soon. The construction financing goes according to schedule. Beside this it is planned to increase the volume of financing for ‘the construction of the century’. In summer, in Vladivostok really “intensified construction” will be started. During this year the builders hope to carry out the large part of the work.
‘There weren’t such construction works for a long time, and moreover such important works for Vladivostok and its residents,’ the Governor said. “Of course, there are minuses in the work, but the main plus is that the bridge won’t remain as a dream and it will be built.
