Federal Budget Gives Over 7.6 Billion Rubles For Russkiy Island Bridge Construction

The bridge construction is a part of Vladivostok 2012 APEC Summit program

VLADIVOSTOK, January 28, vladivostoktimes.com Federal budget has given over 7.6 billion rubles, planned to be spent on construction work in 2009, for construction of the bridge to the Russkiy Island where 2012 APEC Summit will be held, the Head of Federal State Company "Vladivostok" Igor ZUBAREV reported on Tuesday at the press conference in Vladivostok. "This money is in our accounts. Originally, 9 billion rubles were planned to be allocated in 2009 for the bridge construction," added ZUBAREV. He noted that 7.9 billion rubles would be drawn without any doubt. According to ZUBAREV, the bridge construction doesn’t meet the schedule. Workers are planning to catch up with the arrears of work in August or September 2009. "We’re making the 2009 schedule so that we could catch up with arrears of building and assembly work in August or September," ZUBAREV said.
