The minister inspected construction sites of APEC Summit objects

VLADIVOSTOK, November 17, vladivostoktimes.com According to Primorsky Territory Administration press service, the Minister examined Golden Horn bay bridge construction. The Governor Sergey DARKIN said that Golden Horn bay bridge is a dream of a lot of generations living in Vladivostok. The opening of this object will solve a lot of social and economic and building problems. The bridge will improve city transport infrastructure. Equal living conditions will be created in all districts of Vladivostok. The Primorsky Territory Governor Sergey DARKIN informed the Minister about progress of work and future missions. It should be noted, that unique bridge will be more than 2 km (1,3 miles) at length, and it will be 60 meters above water. Sergey DARKIN said that it is one of the constructions that goes according to schedule approved last year. The works go rather quickly. The construction of four-lane road tunnel on the cable railway, which will be the future passage gate from the centre of Vladivostok to the bridge, is being finished now. Earthwork is completely finished. A new stage – the construction of overhead cover of the tunnel sections - is started. The first of three sections is completely finished. The builders said that the tunnel walls concreting is at an end. After construction sites on the cable railway Viktor BASARGIN visited the 37th moorage, where the construction of the eighth abutment – the future bridge pylon, which height will be 226 meters, is situated. The abutment foundation is being concreted there now. The Minister visited also the bridge construction to the island Russkiy, and his plans are to inspect project lands for APEC Summit objects on the island Russkiy. At the end of his trip Viktor BASARGIN held a conference on the preparation of Vladivostok infrastructure for the summit.
